Watson McDaniel Pressure Relief Valves

The Watson McDaniel valve comes in the R Series or the 10691 Series Back Pressure Relief Valve. Watson McDaniel valves are used in water pump bypass for irrigation, sprinkler systems on golf courses, fountains, and fire protection systems. Watson McDaniel valves are used as a fuel oil pump bypass on commercial systems or large residential systems.

Watson McDaniel valves feature four springs interchanged to cover 1-300 PSIG, a heavy-duty bronze valve body, and the 10691 Series has an EPDM seat for tight shut-off (1/2"- 1"). To adjust the set pressure of Watson McDaniel valves, remove the top cap, loosen the lock nut and adjust the pressure with a steel setting screw.
